COOKING METHOD OF CUSTARD MOON CAKES

 

1. Ingredients of dough.   2. Ingredients of custard
   filling.
  3. Sieve all the dry
   ingredients.
   
4. Stir in other ingredients
   to form a paste.
  5. Steam over high heat
   for 30 minutes. Let
   cool.
  6. Prepare custard filling:
   Mix dry ingredients
   together.
   
7. Add egg, evaporated
   milk and water to form
   batter.
  8. Melt butter.   9. Add batter and cook on
   low heat until thickens.
   
10. Form into 12 balls and
     set aside.
  11. Knead dough and
     divide into 12
     portions.
  12. Roll into thin rounds.
   
13. Wrap up the filling.   14. Press into a floured
     mould lightly.
  15. Knock out the moon
     cake.
