Did you know that oyster sauce was first discovered by accident ?

Oyster sauce was "accidentally invented" by Mr. Lee Kam Sheung who is the founder of the LEE KUM KEE company. Mr. Lee was a restauranteur when he discovered the sauce from an over-cooked pot of oyster soup. If you like to taste the first, the best, and the most original formulation of oyster sauce, please look for a label bearing a boat lady together with a boy rowing a boat, and of course with the name LEE KUM KEE on the label. The company is still keeping close-to-the-original label design of the Premium Oyster Sauce among other varieties and grades within the range. Heritage is always valuable especially when it comes to food culture.
