Kum Kee sponsored The 5th Secondary School Cooking Competition organized
by Lisa Magazine. The theme of this year¡¦s cooking competition is summer
fruits. Participants have to use fruits as ingredient and name the dish.
There are a total of 162 teams from 65 different secondary schools. The
semi-final was carried out in May and finalists were announced in June already.
The semi-final received keen response since every team performed very well
and many creative recipes were presented.
To let students have more knowledge
on cooking, a cooking forum was held on July 5 in DeLight Club. The Manager,
Mr. Dewey Chow demonstrated several dishes and our Home Economist Margarita
Ng also provided various ideas on using Lee Kum Kee sauces in cooking with
fruits.
The final competition was held on 20 July in Tsuen Wan Plaza. Winner¡¦s
