their first-ever trip here. |

The chefs extraordinaire - Master Chef Han Jiguang from
Qing Dao, Master Chef Zhao Renliang from Shanghai, Master Chef Luo Funan
from Guangdong and Master Chef Zheng Xinmin from Xian will display their
culinary skills at a series of cooking demonstrations organized by Lee
Kum Kee, a leader in quality authentic Chinese sauces since 1888, in conjunction
with Food Tech Malaysia 2002
The visiting
Grand Master Chefs represent the cream of the crop of the Chinese Famous
Chefs Federation, whose exclusive and much sought-after elite membership
is made up of less than 140 famous chefs from a total of 6.8 million professional
chefs in China.
Those privileged with membership must meet a stringent list of criteria,
which includes having more than 20 years experience as a professional
chef, excelling at numerous cooking championships in China and the international
arena, as well as having created signature dishes of their own.They also
need to get approval from Beijing and recommendation from their own province's
chef federation.
Various Lee Kum Kee products, ranging from the premium oyster sauce and
hoisin sauce to the gourmet XO sauce, will be used by the Grand Master
Chefs to enhance the flavours of dishes.
The Lee Kum Kee Grand Master Chef cooking demonstrations will take place
from 27 - 30 June 2002 throughout the four-day event at the Tun Razak
Hall 3, Putra World Trade Center (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur. In addition, visitors
can also visit the Lee Kum Kee booth located at the Tun Razak Hall 3.
