Lee Kum Kee has been awarded the Good People Management Award 2000 by the Labour Department in Hong Kong. Winning this award represents a major
recognition for Lee Kum Kee's policy in human resources management.
The Workplace Consultation Promotion Unit of the Labour Department organises this
award to encourage and commend employers in achieving good people
management. Lee Kum Kee was proud to be named one of the 18 winners of the award this year.
Mr. Eddy Lee of Lee Kum Kee said, "We are very glad to receive the award. Participating in this competition provided
us an opportunity to review our policy and practices in human resources
management."
Team spirit and staff communications are paramount to Lee Kum Kee and the company
organises many staff activities every year including Staff Communication
Meetings and a Founder's Day event. In addition, a recreation club is there to provide social and recreational
activities for staff.
With a view to provide employees the opportunities to grow and develop themselves

staff such as Outward Bound Training, Management Skill Training and First Aid
Courses.
